The police will hand over to the investigative agencies the files concerning a student of Moscow State University, Varvara Karaulova, who has been detained in Turkey on suspicion of her involvement in the Islamic State terrorist organization.
"The missing person case will be closed in connection with Karaulova’s detention in Turkey," TASS cited the message of the Interior Ministry.
"All necessary files for addressing the issue of opening the criminal case against the student under Articles 30 and 208 of Russia's Criminal Code – suspected involvement in an illegal armed group – will be handed over to the investigative agencies," the Interior Ministry press center said.
