In his words, the population of Georgia was small, so chances of people involved in a trial were quite high.
Eka Beselia, the head of the parliamentary committee for human rights and civil integration, believes that the system had always had problems and needed detailed analysis before its fate could be decided.
The jury system in Georgia was adopted in 2010.
