Iran to develop Caspian Sea exports

Iran is going to launch three shipping lines in the Caspian Sea in order to develop its exports to the countries of the region.

 

In this way the republic intends to "expand foreign trade through global and regional markets, particularly in Russia."

 

Plying ships will departure from the ports of Anzali, Amirabad and Nowshehr.


After the launch of these lines from the Caspian port of the Iranian Republic to Astrakhan and Aktau in Kazakhstan, six runs will be performed every month. These runs will involve ships capable of accommodating between 2500 and 6500 tons of cargo and equipped with refrigerators, which will facilitate the delivery of perishable goods such as fruits and vegetables, Sputnik Azerbaijan reports.
