US intends to deprive UN Security Council members of veto rights

The head of the US Treasury, Jacob Lew, said today that the United States is working on a mechanism in order to ban the members of the UN Security Council using their veto regarding reimposing sanctions against Iran.

"The international coalition, which by means of joint efforts has reached the current regime of multilateral sanctions, is sure that Iran will have to face the full might of international sanctions if it does not fulfill its obligations according to the agreement,’’ TASS cites him as saying.
