High-ranking representatives of the Armed Forces of NATO countries and their partners will take part in the alliance’s Annual Strategic Military Partners Conference (SMPC) in the Georgian capital Tbilisi today. The conference was organized by Allied Command Transformation and the Georgian Armed Forces, the Georgian Defense Ministry said.
"The development of closer relations with countries which are not members of the alliance is an especially important objective for NATO," RIA Novosti cited the Ministry of Defense.
"Particular attention at the conference will be paid to the partner countries," the ministry said.
