The presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine have discussed the situation in the CIS

The presidents of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan - Dmitry Medvedev,
Victor Yanukovych and Nursultan Nazarbayev - held a meeting today,
discussing the situation in Kirgizia, RIA Novosti reports, citing
Sergey Lavrov, Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The meeting of
the three presidents took place within the summit on nuclear safety in
Washington.


"The meeting with President Yanukovych was followed by a meeting
between Presidents Medvedev and Yanukovych with President Nazarbayev.
They exchanged their views on the situation within the CIS, paying
special attention to the situation in Central Asia surrounding events
in Kirgizia", - Lavrov said.
