US President Barack Obama welcomes Georgia’s efforts in carrying out democratic reforms, a White House statement said, reports RIA Novosti.
Obama also expressed a readiness to support Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The US leader met Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili at a nuclear security summit in Washington.
He also thanked Saakashvili for the Georgian contribution to the Afghani anti-terrorist campaign.
