The USA and France approved the results of a trilateral meeting of the
Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian presidents in Astrakhan and their
joint declaration made on October 27, Armenian and Azerbaijani media
report.
The joint declaration of Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian presidents
- Serzh Sargsyan, Ilkham Aliyev and Dmitry Medvedev - involves the
return of prisoners and dead bodies.
OSCE Minsk Group and the International Committee of the Red Cross will
assist in exchanging the war prisoners and bodies, US Deputy Secretary
of State Philipp Crowly said in Washington.
This is the 7th meeting initiated by the Russian President Dmitry
Medvedev in the last two years.
The US official added that the meeting has a positive effect on
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement.
France, a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group approved the results of the
meeting in Astrakhan.
