Azerbaijani youth to actively participate in parliamentary elections

Azerbaijani youth are expected to actively participate in the
parliamentary elections, Trend reports, referring to the Deputy
Minister for Youth and Sports, Intigam Babayev.

”Seminars conducted among young people during the campaign by the
Ministry, showed that they are interested in a lot of questions. This
suggests that young people will participate actively in the
elections,” - Babayev said.

According to him, the previous elections in Azerbaijan showed that
young people are becoming more active and aware that their voice is of
great importance in the election.

Elections to the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of
Azerbaijan are scheduled for the 7th of  November, 2010.
