Armenian president sees great potential for cooperation with Canada

Armenia sees great potential and possibilities in cooperation with
Canada in various fields, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said on
Friday during a meeting with a delegation headed by the Mayor of
Montreal, Gérald Tremblay, NewsArmenia reports, citing the press
service of the head of state.

Sargsyan expressed gratitude to the current and previous government of
Montreal for the care and attention to the Armenian community.

For his part, the Mayor of Montreal praised the role of the Armenian
community in strengthening relations between Yerevan and Montreal, and
the two countries and expressed willingness to jointly continue their
efforts to expand cooperation in various fields between Armenia and
Canada.

The two sides also stressed the importance of the 31st Conference of
Francophone Cities to be held in Yerevan.
