Alexander Khloponin, Russian vice-premier and presidential envoy to
the North Caucasus Federal District (NCFD), and the Governor of
Stavropol Territory Valeriy Gayevskiy have taken part in a meeting in
Pyatigorsk, Yuga.ru reports.
Khloponin noted that the Stavropol Territory shows an intensive growth
rate and is best prepared for the realization of the strategy of NCFD
development.
He said that the Russian Investment Fund has 6.5 billion rubles for
Caucasian investment projects in 2011. and 3 billion rubles of the sum
will be used in the Stavropol Territory.
According to Gayevskiy"s press-service, Khloponin advised local
autonomies to use the Krasnodar experience and establish zones of
economic growth.
