Armenia to expand relations with Georgia

“Armenia and Georgia are interested in broadening and deepening
economic relations between the two countries,” Armenian Prime Minister
Tigran Sargsyan announced, Business-Georgia reports.

According to Sargsyan, Armenia is interested in existing next to a
developed and prosperous Georgia.

"I can say that we are generally satisfied with the current level of
relations between the two countries. Of course, even good neighbours
have problems, but we try to solve them without emotions," the
Armenian prime minister told a meeting with the participants of a
media forum, which was being held in Yerevan in the framework of the
4th Forum of Translators and Publishers of the CIS and Baltic
Countries.

However, he noted that the parties still have issues with “the
Armenian community in Georgia, the teaching of the Armenian language
in the country, as well as with Armenian historical and cultural
monuments."
