Work on clearing the roads in the area of Kazbegi-Lars has been
completed. The deputy governor of the region, Givi Amirhanashvili, has
announced that traffic on the road has already been restored, Georgia
Online reports.
He noted that explosives were used for the clearing of the road.
Due to heavy rains the road between Kazbegi and Lars has previously
been hit by rockfalls, causing interruption of traffic.
