Registration of observers in Azerbaijani district electoral commissions ends today

The process of the registration of observers in the district electoral
commissions will finish up today at 18:00 (Baku time), Trend reports,
referring to a spokesman for the Central Election Commission, Azer
Sariyev.

The district electoral commissions have registered 32,390 people to
monitor the voting.

According to Sariyev, the total number of  observers to be registered
will be decided tomorrow.

Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan will be held on the 7th of November 2010.

The previous elections were held in November 2005.

Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held according to a majority
system in 125 electoral districts.
