President Barack Obama held a short unplanned meeting with the Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili in the course of the international nuclear security summit, reports Kommersant.
The meeting was held after Barack Obama’s being blamed for willingness to sacrifice the ally for the sake of relations with Moscow. Meanwhile, Mikheil Saakashvili, who managed to gain scanty courtesies of the White House, tried to attract attention of the nuclear security forum by making a resounding statement that Tbilisi has supposedly stopped attempts of smuggling highly enriched uranium, mostly of Russian output.
