The Azerbaijani and Turkish ministers of foreign affairs, Elmar
Mammadyarov and Ahmet Davutoglu, have had a closed-door meeting in
Istanbul.
The Azerbaijani minister arrived in Turkey on Tuesday, the Azerbaijani
Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports. Mammadyarov will take part in the
4th Regional Economic Cooperation Conference for Afghanistan (RECCA
IV). He is expected to make a speech.
The conference, supervised by the Turkish and Afghan ministers of
foreign affairs is being held in Istanbul on November 2-4. Officials
from Pakistan, India and other international organizations with
offices in Afghanistan are taking part.
