A delegation of the European Union has announced the start of applications from non-governmental organizations for civil society support programmes. The winner will receive 2 million manats, Trend reports.
Such actions help support a civil society in Azerbaijan and reflect the duties of the EU in the human rights sphere. The first tender for 1.2 million euros will support efforts to improve civil law and its realization in the sphere of democracy and human rights. The 2nd tender of 700,000 euros will support non-governmental organizations in sustainable development.
