Russia and Azerbaijan successfully overcome difficulties

Russian investors consider cooperation with Azerbaijan in spheres of oil-and-gas, medicine production, and railroad transportation to be very perspective.  This was announced during the round table meeting “Russia-Azerbaijan: Through the broadening of the interstate cooperation to the partnership consolidation” on Thursday.
“Such meetings are impossible without mutual interests of both sides,” - said Alexei Ostrovskii, the chairman of Duma Committee for CIS affairs. “I am very pleased to see the Azerbaijani contribution in establishing of closer contacts with Russia’s regions”, - Trend reports.
He also added that Russian authorities set as top priority the development of commercial links between regions and near abroad, particularly Azerbaijan.
In its turn Azerbaijani side stated that misunderstanding in South Caucasus policy had been successfully overcame.
Since 2001 Russia and Azerbaijan have intensified cooperation and strategic partnership. “A very important role in the partnership of our countries play good personal relation of out presidents,” – said representative of the Azerbaijani president’s administration, Ali Gazanov.
As he noted during the meeting, Russia and Azerbaijan have managed to secure and develop strategic partnership even in hard conditions of the World Crises.
