The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan will be monitored by 48,000 observers, according to the chairman of the Azerbaijani Central Electoral Committee, Mazahir Panahov.
Among them as independent observers will be the heads of the information agency "Vestnik Kavkaza" - the general director of the agency, head of the Center of Caucasian Studies of the Russian State University for the Humanities, Ismail Agakishiyev, and the editor-in-chief of the Vestnik Kavkaza agency, Alexei Vlasov.
VK has been registered as a media resource to report on the elctions. 11 foreign media resources were registered for these elections in Azerbaijan.
