Gunmen encircled in Dagestan

As a result of a fight between a gang of gunmen and police, one policeman died and three people were injured near the Dagestani town of Izerbash.
At the moment units of the federal forces are using mortars against the gunmen.
"According to some data, there may have been 7-10 militants encamped at their summer base. When they were surrounded on Friday, they started shooting at law-enforcement officers. That is why it was decided to use mortars," a representative of the law-enforcement agencies told Interfax.
