Work schedule determined for VK observers at Azerbaijani parliamentary elections

The VK observers at the elections to the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis, Director-General of the news agency and head of the Centre for Caucasian Studies at the Russian State University for the Humanities, Ismail Agakishiev, and editor-in-chief and vice-dean of the history faculty at Moscow State University, Alexei Vlasov, began their work in Baku today. They met with representatives of the Azerbaijani Electoral Commission and agreed on their monitoring timetable during the elections. As VK reported, the observer mission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkish-speaking Countries arrived in Baku, including 10 parliamentarians from Kazakhstan and Turkey. The mission's representatives will track the voting process at various polling stations. CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev, heading the CIS observers' mission, noted the high level of preparations for tomorrow's
elections.
