6 regions of North Ossetia and Vladikavkaz will have eight swimming
pools and sports halls in 2015, Yuga.ru reports.
The goal was set by Taymuraz Mamsurov after meeting the Russian
Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko. They decided to include the facilities
into the federal purpose program based on co-financing, the head of
the administration of the region Sergey Takoyev said in his blog.
According to Interfax, the federal purpose program 'Development of
physical fitness and sports' involves construction of swimming pools
in Alagir, Ardon, Digor, Mozdok, Elkhotovo, Chikol and two in
Vladikavkaz.
The program involves the construction of tennis courts, an area for
horses and at least 10 universal sports complexes in all regions of
the republic. Realization of the program will allow thousands of
people to participate in sports.
