The Healthcare Ministry of Kabardino-Balkaria was issued a mobile
blood donation centre worth 42 million rubles with a capacity of 100
blood donors per shift, RIA Novosti reports, citing the ministry.
The blood transfusion station received a medical laboratory and
computer equipment worth a total of 112 million rubles.
The centre consists of several rooms, each has a resting and waiting
rooms, rooms for registry and the medical examination of donors,
procedure and blood taking rooms with a medical laboratory and an
equipment for blood storage.
The mobile laboratory also has advanced equipment and refrigerators
capable of preserving temperature under 90 degrees C.
The Healthcare Ministry hopes that the mobile laboratory will attract
staff of offices, organizations and structures for free donors and
corporate volunteering.
