The Azerbaijani national mine-clearing agency, ANAMA, has provided
Afghanistan with 10,000 copies of mine-clearing manuals composed by
Azerbaijan, APA reports, citing the head of ANAMA Nazim Ismailov.
According to Ismailov the manuals are written in the Dari language.
The books were presented recently.
At the first stage, Azerbaijan sent 11 people to Afghanistan, headed
by the Afghan Mine-Clearance Department. At the second stage, ANAMA
specialists visited Afghanistan to exchange experience. This is when
the book was written.
Ismailov noted that the Afghan government is requesting 20,000 more
copies of the book. The ANAMA head said that the request will be
viewed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
