Dagestani leader Magomedsalam Magomedov went on a visit to Saudi
Arabia for Hajj on November 11, RIA Novosti reports.
He is accompanied by the deputy chairman of the committee of the
Federal Council for international affairs, ombudsman for Hajj of the
commission for religious unions under the Russian government, Ilyas
Umakhanov.
After arriving at Jeddah airport he will visit Masjid al-Haram, Mount
Arafat and Mina.
In mid-October this year Magomedsalam Magomedov met the Authorized
Saudi Ambassador, Ali Hasan Ahmed Jafar, at the embassy of Saudi
Arabia in Russia. The ambassador invited Magomedov to make Hajj as an
honoured guest of His Highness King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz Al Saud, the president’s press-service said.
