The US Navy warship John Hall has entered the Georgian port Poti to participate in a joint exercises with the Georgian Coastal Guard Service. The sides will hold maneuvers to localize fires and save sinking ships, Rosbalt reports.
American musicians came along with the military, to give concerts in Georgian ports. This is John Hall’s second visit this year. In February-March it participated in joint maneuvers on rescuing in the sea and fighting illegal migration. American crew also participated in the opening of a Georgian Coastal Guard station in the village of Gonio, on the border with Turkey.
