The US State Department spokesman, Philip Crowley, said that the
United States is prepared to negotiate on the Iranian nuclear program
and the first round can be held in late November, Reuters reports.
Earlier, the EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy,
Catherine Ashton, offered to hold talks from November 15 to 17 in
Vienna. As reported by the New York Times, Ashton said that she was
against holding talks in Turkey.
Now the European Union offers Tehran to discuss its nuclear program at
international negotiations in early December.
As reported by Western media, citing diplomatic sources, Catherine
Ashton has invited the Iranian chief representative at the talks,
Saeed Jalili, to meet in Switzerland on the 5th of December, “Svoboda”
radio station reports.
The latest time the "5+1" group of world powers were negotiating with
Iran on nuclear issues was more than a year ago.
