The Georgian Parliament has approved amendments to the Code of
Administrative Violations, which impose fines for environmental
pollution, News-Georgia reports.As stated by the Deputy of the
parliamentary committee, Lasha Tordia, the fine for discarding litter
from a car will amount to 50 lari.The parliamentary opposition finds
the new law incomplete, as it does not explain the process of
monitoring the violations.
The bill will come into force on Monday.
