Armenia and India to expand decentralized cooperation

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian visited Calcutta on November 12, within the framework of his official visit to India, PanARMENIAN reports.

The Minister held a meeting with West Bengal governor Mayankote Kelath Narayanan. During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of expansion of decentralized cooperation between Armenia and India, as well as cooperation perspectives of West Bengal with one of Armenia's regions.

A visit to the Calcutta Armenian school and a monastery founded by Mother Theresa were also on the Foreign Minister’s agenda, the ministerial press service reported.
