The victims of the terrorist attack in Beslan in 2004 have picketed in the center of Vladikavkaz, demanding a bill be passed 'On the status of terrorism victims", RIA Novosti reports.
The picketers carried placards demanding terrorist attacks be prevented in future and that the last attacks to occur on the territory of the republic be investigated. "We are told that the terrorists have been killed, but the attacks are still going on," the chair of the public committee 'Golos Beslana' ('Voice of Beslan'), Ella Kesayeva, said.
The main demand of the people is to approve a bill on the status of victims of terrorism. "Why can't the children injured in the Beslan attack get guaranteed treatment?" she said.
