Iran starts massive air defense drills

Iran has started five-day air defense drills, commander Ahmad Migani
said, Trend reports, citing Press TV.


He said that it is annual training. It will be held in three stages.
In the first stage Iranian quick-reaction troops and reconnaissance
will counter the enemy reconnaissance.


In the second stage Iranian AA forces will search and destroy the
enemy armed forces. Fighters and AA systems will be used, FARS
reports.


In the third stage the armed forces will protect Iranian nuclear
facilities from enemy fighters, drones and cruise missiles.


Migani said that the purpose of the training is to improve the
efficiency of the armed forces. He noted that Iran started production
of its radar system with a radius of 3000 km, capable of locating
low-visibility objects.
