Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for “brotherhood” in the Middle East, “to disrupt enemy plans”, Trend reports, citing IRNA.
“Iran and Kuwait are two brotherly countries, with cultural contacts and common interests”, - Ahmadinejad said at a meeting with the special envoy of Kuwait’s emir, Mohammad Abdulla Abu al-Hassan, in Tehran.
“We have potential and urge further expansion of contacts between our countries,” Ahmadinejad noted.
He added that both countries should establish brotherly relations, stability and security, because instability is disadvantageous for any country in the region.
Kuwait’s ambassador presented Ahmadinejad a greeting letter from Kuwait’s emir and called for further expansion of contacts between the two countries.
