Gas consumers in several microdistricts of Sochi (Mamayka, Donskaya
Street, New Sochi) have been deprived of gas supplies due to the gas
pipeline being shifted from the construction zone of the Olympic
facilities, the assistant of head of the PR service of Sochigorgaz
Victoria Zavyalova said, RIA Novosti reports.
She clarified that the shifting will be done in two stages:
construction of an underground gas pipeline on Gagarin Street and then
re-tie-in to the gas pipeline on Donskaya Street.
The new pipeline will be longer by 40 meters. The diameter of the pipe
will remain the same. Sochigorgaz is doing the work.
