European Commission and European chambers of commerce sign agreement on "Eastern Partnership" program

The European Commission and Eurochambres (Association of European Chambers of Commerce) have signed a contract worth 8.75 million euros for the East-Invest project, Trend reports, with reference to the information resource of the Neighbourhood Programme (ENPI), with reference to EuropeAid.

The draft East-Invest program, in which the European Union is to invest 7 million euros from November 2010 to November 2013, covers Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova. 

The project aims at promoting the economic development of the Eastern Neighbourhood and improving its business environment, the report says.
