Ukraine exports grain to Russia, Armenia and Georgia outside of enforceable standard quotas

Ukraine will export grain to Russia, Armenia and Georgia outside of standard quotas of grain exports, the agricultural policy minister of Ukraine Nikolai Prisazhnuk stated, News.am reports. He said that these countries have made a request for grain imports from Ukraine and they will be provided with grain outside of the standard quotas.

However, the minister didn't state the volume of the exports. "I can't say what volumes will be sold. It depends on the contracts. I can say that it will be sold at market prices, and the contracts will be implemented by commercial structures," Prisazhnuk remarked.

On the 7th of October the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine established quotas on grain export of 2 million tons of corn, 500,000 tons of grain and 500,000 tons of barley.
