Georgia should file an official membership request to the European
Union, President of the EU Jose Manuel Barroso said at a joint
press-conference with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, Trend

Georgia strives for membership in EU. He emphasized that Georgia is
having an intensive reform process to join the union.
The Georgian president will participate at the NATO summit on November
