A special commission of the central office of the Russian General
Prosecutor's Office has started work in the Krasnodar Territory. It
will undertake an inspection of the law-enforcers of the region and
the Kushevskaya Cossack village, where 12 people were recently
murdered, RIA Novosti reports, citing an official spokesman of the
office Marina Gridneva.
She clarified that the commission will view the quality of work of the
law-enforcers, complaints from citizens and business. It will study
halted criminal cases.
The commission will also check the work of the executive and municipal
authorities on providing security for citizens and preventing law
violations. The head of the commission was ordered to take immediate
measures if any violations are revealed.
