Militant leader suspected of Vladikavkaz terrorist attack arrested

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and the police have
arrested a militant leader who is suspected of involvement in a
terrorist attack in Vladikavkaz which killed 19 people, RIA Novosti
reports, citing the Ingush department of the FSB.


The man is the suspected leader of the so-called 'Karabulak group'
operating in Ingushetia.


On September 9, a suicide bomber blew himself up in a vehicle at the
entrance of the central market. The explosive device was equal to
30-40 kg of TNT. 19 people were killed and over 200 injured.
