Krasnodar hosted an international science-practical conference on
Thursday. The topic was security in Russia's south, organized by the
State University of Kuban, Southern Science Center of the RAS, Academy
of Political Science and the Russian Association of Political Science,
Yuga.ru reports.
Approximately 100 participants requested to take part, most of them
come from Russia and international communities. They presented their
science projects which will be viewed in the near future, head of the
department of politology and political management of the State
University of Kuban, Professor Victor Yurchenko.
He said that analysts of his university won a grant for the federal
program on developing their potential. The grant will be used to
develop information security in polyethical society. Another grant was
given for the optimization of administrative practice in the political
and state management of Russia. Two more grants were given by the
Russian Fund of Humanitarian Science for ideological support of
realization of Russia's state interests and innovative strategic
development of the Krasnodar Territory.
Yuga,ru reports that organizers of the event will develop practical
recommendations for participants of the political process and will
publish a book with the materials.
On November 19 the conference will have a round table on information
confrontation of the terrorism in ethno-confessional relations. This
includes discussion of factors leading to rise of extremism and
terrorism, institutions of the civil society and their role in
fighting terrorism and the role of media in information confrontation
of terrorist ideology.
