Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has had a closed-door
meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev during the third
summit of the Caspian states, ANS reports.
Aliyev noted that ties between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are
developing. The sides believe that there is potential for increasing
trade turnover and realization of bilateral projects.
The Turkmen president emphasized that there is an inter-government
commission operating and next week it will have a session.
Berdimuhamedov invited Aliyev to visit Turkmenistan.
