US President Barack Obama will meet his Georgian counterpart Mikheil
Saakashvili at the NATO summit in Lisbon on November 20, White House
officials said, Trend reports, citing the BBC.
Obama will also meet the president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai. The
topic of their talks has not been not clarified, RBK reports.
Saakashvili had been reported earlier to be planning to meet the UK
Prime Minister David Cameron and to talk with the presidents of Turkey
and the Czech Republic. He will also meet the head of Australia.
On November 19-20, 2010, Lisbon will host the NATO summit. Russian
President Dmitry Medvedev will participate in the meeting.
