Russia and Azerbaijan achieve agreement over delimitation

Another round of negotiations held in Khachmaz district in connection with the delimitation of the state border between the two countries and participated by working groups headed by Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and Alexander Golovin, the special envoy of Russian President for the delimitation matter, concluded with a mutual agreement.

According to APA, citing Khalaf Khalafov, the mutual agreement concerning the joint use of the bridge crossing the river Samur, as well as delimitation of the debatable territories in Khachmaz and Balkan regions has been achieved.

In addition, according to the agreement,  waters of the Samur River will be used by both States on the square. Today on the arrangement’s basis an agreement has been signed  The official results of the agreement will be presented to the Presidents.
