Institute of Regional Information in cooperation with the Department of Political Science of Moscow State University createda rating of life quality in the Russian regions on the basis of statistical data for 2009, Yuga.ru reports.
Researchers have identified four types of regions: areas of risk where the dynamics and level of development are below the country average; regions, where the quality of life is below, but the dynamics is better than national; regions, where the quality of life is better, but the dynamics worse than nationwide; and the team of success, including the territories, where the dynamics and quality of life higher than the national average. Stavropol region is listed in the last one, together with Krasnodar region, Adygea and 14 more subjects of the Russian federation.
Factors of life quality included the attractiveness of migration, life expectancy, demographic indicators, reduction of unemployment and crime rates, as well as construction and commissioning of the housing facilities.
