Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that control over
anti-missile defenses should belong to NATO.
Concerning the demands of the EU to have Turkey open its air space and
ports, Erdogan said that both sides need to open their ports to each
other.
Erdogan also commented on Greece’s expansion of its sea border by 12
miles. He said that they did not sign any such agreements. Turkey will
express its position only after negotiations on the issue, the prime
minister said.
