Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has commented on the results of presidential polls in the self-proclaimed Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, reports TPT.
He has noted that negotiations on the resolution of the North Cyprus conflict will continue without changes.
Commenting on the election results he said: "Turkey has always supported North Cyprus, no matter who has represented the country in the negotiation process. We will keep on investing in efforts to establish peace.”
“These polls showed the democratic character of the North Cyprus republic, as well as democratic tradition,” he added.
