People’s Party of South Ossetia to cooperate with liberal-democrats of Belarus

An official delegation of the People’s Party of South Ossetia, headed by the leader of the party, chairman of the committee for youth, sports and tourism of the republic’s parliament, Kazimir Pliyev, has visited Belarus, where it had talks with the Liberal-Democratic Party, headed by Sergey Gaydukevich.


The talks were held in a friendly atmosphere. The found common ground on a wide range of international issues concerning modernity and significant aspects of exterior and interior policy, IA ‘Res’ reports, citing the press-service of the People’s Party.


Gaydukevich emphasized the importance of Belarus’s to recognition South Ossetia. Pliyev emphasized the importance of fair elections and just social policy, pointing out South Ossetia as an example.


The sides signed an agreement on cooperation in political and cultural spheres between the People’s Party of South Ossetia and the Liberal-Democratic Party of Belarus.
