U.S. still interested in Iranian nuclear swap - State Department

On April 20, Massoud Akhavanfard,  the Deputy Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has  said on April 20 that the suggestion concerning fuel exchange made by Iran offers a possible way out of the impasse for the West.
After that statement, the Obama Administration has said that the nuclear fuel swap is Iran is still possible.

State department spokesman P.J.Crawley told reporters during the conference that the U.S. authorities "are still interested in taking that step, but at the heart of it, there was the proposal that Iran would ship out a significant amount of its stock of enriched fuel and there would be an exchange for a corresponding amount of fuel suitable to the Tehran research reactor," he said.
However, the U.S. noticed that Iran has never agreed to a key part of the program fully.
