Igor Popov appointed as OSCE MG Russian co-chair

According to anspress.com, Igor Popov has been appointed as Russian co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group. Igor Popov arrived in Baku today with a former OSCE co-chairman  Yuri Merzlyakov in order to negotiate with Azerbajani officials over the Nagorno karabakh settlement. Robert bradtke, the other OSCE co-chairman is to arrive in Baku later today.
Popov said that he will make all possible efforts for achieving the Nagorno karabakh settlement.
