Final 2011 draft budget introduced to Georgian parliament

On November 30 the final version of the draft state budget for 2011 will be submitted to the Georgian Parliament, the First Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia Papuna Petriashvili told journalists,Georgia Online reports.

Initially, the draft budget was submitted to parliament on October 1,but after that it was returned to the government for revision and grewto $7.88 billion (instead of $6.6 billion). The main priorities of the budget for next year are the development of tourism infrastructure, rehabilitation of roads and education. The government claimed that programmes in the health sector will be continued and all the beneficiaries funded this year will also be funded in the future.
