Russian and Uzbek presidents sign final declaration

A number of documents has been signed after the negotiations between Dmitry Medvedev and Islam Karimov. In particular, the two presidents have signed a joint declaration in conclusion of the Uzbek President's official visit to Russia, reports RIA Novosti. The presidents also signed a program of interstate cooperation in cultural and humanitarian area for 2010-2012, a Memorandum of  Mutual Understanding between Russian and Uzbek Governments  in military and technical cooperation for 2010-2012 years and some other imposrtant documents.

Uzbekistan is one of the leading Russia's trading partners among the CIS countries.
